Registry Design
The purpose of setting up the registry is to gather information on ACL injuries and their treatment in Iran. Surgeons who carry out ACL reconstructions are encouraged to take part. This study is an observational one that will collect data prospectively.
Patients' demographic information, injury cause, and ACL-related quality of life outcomes will be collected before surgery and for five years after the operation. Surgeons will provide information about the operation and any post-operative issues, such as graft re-ruptures, implant problems, or the need for additional surgery.
The registry welcomes participation from surgeons in almost all centers across Iran. If new surgeons are interested in contributing, they can contact the registry to receive all the necessary resources and guidance to begin participating.
